Hey, everyone. Welcome to ClevverMovies. I'm your host, Amanda Janner.

After twenty-three years, Michael Douglas is back in his Oscar-winning role as the infamous financial kingpin, Gordon Gekko. Oliver Stone's 1987 film Wall Street takes on a modern twist with its follow-up, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Shia LeBeouf plays opposite Douglas in the big-screen sequel, hitting theaters this September.

In a world of brokers, bankers, traders and insiders, Gekko now finds himself an outsider after spending years behind bars. The game he once dominated has changed, but has he? Check out the trailer.

Douglas' performance is already stirring rumors of a second Oscar for the same role. But is that enough for you to make an investment to see the film in theaters? Hit the comments section and tell us your plans. Thanks for watching!

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, and Carey Mulligan. Oliver Stone is the director of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps opens in theaters on September 24. 2010.

  • @Snoopn1rnd You got that right!

  • @78411ANDY Correction: Greed WAS good. Now it's legal... ;)

  • greed is good!

  • Shia and Carey... both great actors but I'm so broken hearted! :(

  • Nice to see Shia Labeouf taking on a character role other than 'nerdy kid in over his head that always gets the one-dimensional girl'. Didn't think he had it in him, but looks like he'll pull this off.
